Ombeni Kahavo

Ombeni Kahavo, he is a Congolese painter born in 1998 in Goma in North Kivu located in the east of the DRC .

Coming from a family of painters, Ombeni passed his secondary studies with difficulty due to lack of tuition fees and the miserable life his family difficulties, Ombeni decided to follow and learn Art from His Father named BOBOY KAHAVO who was a great painter of the eighties.

Ombeni kahavo began to acquire Artistic lessons and techniques at the age of 14 old where he deepened to embarked on his passion as a painter at the age of 17. Ombeni began to sell his works passing here and there , door to door from houses in the city , to bars and restaurants to sell his works while shouting out loud , this sales technique is called “CHPEKYENYE” .

Going through a very stressfull ,difficult journey with indefinite wars in the East of his Country where he lived , Ombeni decided to travel to Rwanda Bordering country to the East of the DRC in October 2022, where he met with @np_arts_kigali community .

Ombeni Kahavo Acquired all his Artistics styles from his Father like , Abstract art, realism and sand style . In his technics , he explores the themes of the Beauty of African music , the beauty of African woman , the underground and portraits of Africans heroes
